Welcome to the 4th edition of the Brazilian Nanocellulose Summit, formerly known as Brazilian Workshop on Nanocellulose.

After skipping 2021 owing to the sanitary conditions, the 4th edition of this biannual series will be held in August 2023, again in the city of São Carlos, in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. This edition is co-chaired by UFSCar's Caio Otoni, Embrapa's Henriette Azeredo, and USP's Antonio Carvalho, with value support by Unicamp's Watson Loh and Embrapa's Monica Laurito and Luiz Mattoso.

Confirmed speakers include Prof. Michael Tam (Univ. Waterloo, Canada), Prof. Orlando Rojas (UBC/BioProducts Institute, Canada), and Prof. Tatiana Budtova (MINES ParisTech, France). Lectures by key representatives of the Brazilian colloidal cellulose community will be announced soon.

As in previous editions, the official language is English, and abstracts will be welcome for submission and presentation by academic and industrial players, particularly graduate and undergraduate students.

Hope to see you in São Carlos!
